|2011 MERZ WORLD: YONA FRIEDMAN & TOMAS SARACENO : CONTRIBUTIONS : ANTONIO VEGA MACOTELA: ANNA IS A SOAP, 2011
I made this "piece" with the help of one inmate whom I am actually working (as you may know it has been really difficult the timing since this guy was isolated and our conversations were held witn a steel door as a mediator). Gochi, the prisoner, and I were talking a lot reading and reading again this poem thinking in this conversaion as a collage.
He was charmed by a line of the poem: "You thine thou yours, I you, you me - us?" at the end of one of the chats he promise he would give me a gift, the last sunday he gave me this soap, for me was perfect since I could not separete this idea of "Merz" from the idea of conversation, and the idea of conversation from the "touching". Funny if you think that there was a metal door separating us.
